Any day now, our family is going to be blessed with the most incredible gift, we will not only have two perfectly precious angels but three. These little darlings are my everything, they bring light into my life, every ounce of them, the day they were born hearts were softened and love started to bloom in places it had not for years, you could say a blanket of love was knitted around our family, it pulled us in tight and there is no escaping it, it feels good. I have no doubt when my brother and his beautiful wife anounce the birth of their third child, magic will happen all over again.

2 Love Notes

I’m one of those people who love the smell of paper and books, being a graphic designer from way back I have come to love and appreciate the workmanship that goes into building a book from scratch, with perfect binding, flawless print, vibrant colours, textual paper. Today I’m showing off one of my Art Books. This is the love story of Jordan and Annie, each page sits flat with a panoramic view, each picture feels like velvet under your fingers, all together its just one big wonderful. If your thinking of having your story made into a book, lets talk.

Leave me a Love Note

Why I adore my mother and respect her more than anyone I know.

She has been my best friend for as long as I can remember, she was my best friend in kindy, she was my best friend as a teen, she is my best friend today. She has the most beautiful, generous and compassionate heart. She is and will always remain the most strongest woman I’ve ever met. She has a place in her heart and her home for me whenever I need (and everyone else that has been lucky enough to call her their friend). She has guided me to look at relationships from both sides, never to dismiss the reason behind an action. She taught me strive to be an individual not to follow a text book life and to push hard to find my fairy-tail. She has never EVER expressed disappointment in me and has always shown belief and trust that I would make the right decisions. She has never ‘told me’ what to do but only ‘asked’ me what I’d like to do. She taught me to be respectful in all aspects of life. She taught me to never take advantage of anyone or any situation. She has taught me to work hard for what I want – no hand outs. She taught me to stand tall and never to succumb to pressure to be anything less. She taught me to sew pretty things, to cook yummy (healthy) food and drink tea lots of tea. She taught me to feel with every inch of my heart each and every single day.

I strive to be more like her every day, if I end up half  the woman my mother is, I would be the happiest girl in the world.

To Mum, I am so lucky to have a friend like you, I mean, you just get it, you just get me, like when you say something super stupid and then I say something completely ridiculous that makes no sense whatsoever and then we laugh so hard and everyone just looks at us like we’re nuts and then we laugh even more……I LOVE that.
