My mum is one of my best friends… she’s always been like a sister.. youthful n cool… not a mean bone in her body! – Bunny
I would have liked to known my Mum when she was this age. This is my most favourite photo of her. It’s now coming up to 30 years since she passed and I miss her in my life every day. And that’s no to say that I still don’t talk to her, cos I do. But it’s such a long time to be without your ‘best friend’. Treasure your Mums, they are very special people. – Loving daughter Barbara Berry

Why I love her – she worries so that my mind can be at ease, she teaches so that I may learn, she gives so that I may receive, she hugs so that I may be held, she smiles so that I smile too x – Ange Jackson
My Beautiful Mum, I admired her pragmatic attitude to life’s problems. No matter what difficulties she faced she just got on with it. This was a great lesson for me and I thank her for teaching me not to dwell on my problems. She was creative, a romantic, a beautiful seamstress, a great cook, an even better gardener, a beautiful homemaker and later in life she took delight in her discovery of her talent for landscape painting. The passion instilled in me as a child for beautiful things is now the backbone of my business today – Jill Morris
In a few words why i love my mother: She is selfless, resilient, compassionate & I strive to be the mother she is! – Katrin Higby
